  1. Your storyboard is progressing nicely. It's well organized and concise. What video presentation are you planning to use?

  2. Thanks LaToshia!
I would like to show my students using technology to complete a lesson in social studies or math while working in small groups. I am going to have to create a form to get permission to video them and take pictures for the project. Hopefully, that will not be too difficult. I think I will use the interactive whiteboard and the pc to display them being critical thinkers. They work well in small groups and seem to enjoy it.

  3. Hi Vanessa. As Tosh said, your storyboard is progressing. For this assignment, you will need to create a storyboard that has representations for many of your visual elements as well as the accompanying sound or script that goes with them. Based on your comments to Tosh, I think you're probably on the right track for the video. Having original video footage plus several photographs will go a long way toward making your point in an interesting way. I realize that you made this preliminary storyboard in PowerPoint, just be careful not to rely on static, text- based slides in your video.

  4. Dr. Powell,
Thanks for the suggestions. I will certainly take your advice. I am trying to get permission from my students' parents to use them in my video My only concern is trying to get it all to flow. I am hoping to put alot of work into it this weekend. I am running into some challenges because my computer and programs are so new many people havent used them. I am having the most difficulty inserting pictures and video from one program to another.
